Starbucks Verismo DECAF Espresso Roast Espresso Pods 72 ct
Since Starbucks discontinued the Verismo product line a few years ago--machines and pods--I had to find alternate pods to use in my machine. I had briefly experimented with a Nespresso machine as a replacement, but I tried about a dozen different Nespresso pods and never found an espresso I liked as much as the Starbucks Verismo pods). Ultimately I was able to find good alternatives which worked in the Verismo, except for decaf espresso--none of the alternatives were as good as the Starbucks' decaf. I was happy to find these Verismo pods for a not insane price. Yes, they are priced at a premium at this point, since they are hard to find. As I expected, they are past their "best by" date, but they still taste better than other decaf options, and we don't drink a lot of decaf, so these should last us a while, stored in a vacuum container.
