First illustrated ed., morocco leather hardcover w/ornate gilt titling and architecture, a.e.g., expanded dentelles wrapping around binding edges, elaborate gilt paneling to front and rear boards, 8vo 7.750x5.125?), Very Good+/n.a., 304pp. Light soiling/foxing sporadically throughout; else fine.
Five raised bands, binding very tight, illustrated by nearly one hundred engravings on wood from drawings by Birket Foster. A marvelous Capture of Tyme and a very distinctive book indeed!
