Ialuvit is a solution with a high content of sodium hyaluronate (0.5%) which, due to its mucomimetic and pseudoplastic properties, is evenly distributed over the ocular surface forming a viscoelastic protective bandage.
Properties:
solution with a high content of sodium hyaluronate (0.5%);
pseudo-plastic mucomimetic properties;
evenly distributed over the ocular surface forming a viscoelastic protective bandage;
stabilizes the tear film and reduces friction and strain caused by eye movements;
formulated in a hypotonic solution to counterbalance any hyperosmolarity of the tear film;
Due to its particular saline composition, it restores and maintains the concentrations of important ions, such as sodium, potassium and magnesium.
Administration: Generally, 1-2 drops of solution are instilled into the conjunctival sac of the eye, 3-4 times a day.
Packaging size: 15 vials of 0.6ml.
