This is a Vintage Item and may have wear due to age. *Vintage Metals including Brass and Silver have age. They are beautifully unique. They will not be perfect, cookie cutter, or New. There will be some wear or flaws and each piece will have individual aging depending on it's life before I discovered it. To me, this adds to the character and history of the piece. I generally do not polish any of the metal items. I prefer the rustic look, and I know many others do as well. But if you prefer a shiny look you can use an appropriate cleaner to remove tarnish from Silver and to polish Brass and Bronze. I leave this up to the Buyer to decide. I have a soft spot for Brass and you will find many pieces listed and likely many more I am working to get up for others to adopt and add to their collection.
