KITZ oe (125) 200WOG RARE EMBEDDED IN LUCITE PAPERWEIGHT This pristine KITZ dual disc brass/bronze heavy check valve is widely used for commercial and industrial applications - World Wide. This heavy bronze/brass pristine valve is embedded in a heavy 4x3x3? lucite block with a black lucite base and with the blue ?KITZ? name. It is perfectly centered; except for some top (as made) crazing shows amazingly well with a big ?wow? effect. The edges and corners are crisp and sharp. The red regulator valve on top has a fire engine red color powder coat finish which really pops. In black letters on the top valve is written ?200 OWG?. The connecting ports have clear plastic plugs. The whole valve has gleaming polished and satin brass/bronze elements. No doubt this was gifted to major distributors, executives or for employee rewards. Great for any plumber, contractor, steampunk collector, supply house executive or just a great techno-industrial collector, or even collectors of unusual things embedded in lucite. Never saw another on the web. Probably dates from the late 1960?s. NOTE: For the purist, a skilled lucite fabricator could slightly grind down the top crazing and restore the optics.
