This is a very scarce, vintage t shirt entitled, "Sisters In The Name Of Rap". Assumed to be a concert shirt for the 1991 television Pay-per-view performance but uncertain. Could be a promotional item. Back states "Polygram Polygram Video". Tag reads: "Screen Stars Best Made in U.S.A.". Shirt is single-stitched to establish its vintage.
Acts listed on the back: MC Lyte, Salt-N-Pepa, Queen
Latifah, Yo-Yo, Dee Barnes, Roxanne Shante, The Original, Def Dames, Tam Tam, Silk Tymes Leather, Nefertiti, Kikky Kixx, Shelly Thunder.
Tagged a size X-Large, measurement from pit to pit is 22". Front collar to hem is 25 1/2". Shirt is quite large.
Condition is near new. No holes, stains, thread pulls or fading. Shirt appears unworn and unlaundered to me. Color is vibrant.
