The bowl has green and white stripes alternating on the body with white slashed designs on each side. The foot of the bowl has two blue rings on it, which may indicate that it is Chinese? There is also a blue ring on the underside, inside the base. Because I'm not sure of the age, I chose to err on the side of caution and choose 'unknown', rather than misrepresent or make a mistake. The base does shows lots of age. This is in very good condition, with just two small dings or chips in the base, and measures approximately 2 1/2" tall by and has a diameter of about 4 1/2". Great looking bowl!!! Insurance is included in shipping. Regardless of what the listing states (don't know why Bonanza does this) media mail can only be used for books, cds, and tapes, not pottery, etc., so please please realize I cannot ship heavier items for the stated $4.22 in many listings.
