SO WILL JUST RELATE WHAT i SEE:: NO OBVIOUS OPTICAL DAMAGE, COMPASS COMPASS LOCK WORKS WELL, BUBBLES OK. I HAVE NO SET UP TO CHECK FOCUSSING. THE OVERALL COSMETIC CONDITION IS 98%+!!! (MINTY) DIAL IS WELL ENGRAVED WITH Company name and model.. THE PAPER LABEL IN I N GOOD CONDITION AND IT COMES WITH A FOLDING MAGNIFIIER.
MY TAKE IS THAT THIS IS PROBABLY A SURVEY OR ENGINEER TRANSIT FROM THE EARLY 1950sS THINK THE DEVICE IS IN FINE COLLECTIBLE CONDITION, and conceivably may still be usable, but no guarantees. NO OBVIOUS DAMAGE SEEN SUCH AS BREAKS, CHIPS, DEEP SCRATCHES, ETC., overall condition is remarkably fine!
