Longstitch is an embroidery technique which uses stitches in a variety of lengths to create an image or pattern. It is very fast and easy to stitch. A long stitch is one straight stitch worked to any length in one direction. Most longstitch kits use a vertical stitch, but some include horizontal stitches.
The design outline is usually printed onto the canvas but can also be counted from a chart.
The Dingo is Australia's wild dog. It is an ancient breed of domestic dog that was introduced to Australia, probably by Asian seafarers, about 4,000 years ago. Its origins have been traced back to early breeds of domestic dogs in south east Asia (quote from the Australian Museum).
