Pan American World Airways Vintage 1960's The President Special First Class Small Cordial Glass Rare And Hard To Find. Excellent Condition, looks unused, no scratches, chip or scuffs, logo is strong. Same or next day USPS Shipping.
First Class Service was branded "The President" after WWII because during the war Franklin Roosevelt had flown on Pan Am when traveling to Africa to meet Winston Churchill Joseph Stalin. The 1960s President emblem is an eagle surrounded by 13 stars (3 above and 10 below) and was featured on plates, glasses, linen menus. This pattern was in use from the early 1960's to the early 1970's. Each Measures approximately: 4 1/8" tall, 1 1/8 " rim, 1 5/8" base. Hold approximately 1.5 ounces. Cordial glass issued by Pan American World Airways for inflight beverage service.For all aviation enthusiasts out there.These collectibles were made in the United States and are perfect for those who love to collect items from the golden age of aviation.
