The mallet style heads increase Moment of Inertia to prevent twisting on off center hits. The weight configuration is set up for players with a straight-back- straight-through putting stroke. The sole plate design allows players to use different lie angles without changing turf interaction. The Tuttle II has two brass inserts and is face balanced.
