****READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE ORDERING
Used ignition coil harness. This harness is from the square truck coils (ACDELCO D581) and truck brackets, and is a 6070 harness. This will correctly conform to D581 coil brackets, but this harness will plug into D514A, D510C and D585 coils, just not contour to those coil brackets properly. This harness fits either cylinder bank (1, 3, 5, 7) or (2, 4, 6, 8). You must properly identify cylinder 1 or 8 when installing this harness, otherwise the coils will fire in the wrong order. Price is for 1 harness. The metal clip tab is missing on the 7-pin connector that snaps to the coil bracket (see photo #4)
NOTE : There are 5 different factory LS ignition coils, 2 coil harness connectors, and 4 different ignition coil brackets and 6 different coil harnesses. You cannot mix and match coil harnesses on brackets, the brackets are specific to each style coil and so is the harness. Make sure you are ordering the correct coil harness for your application!! The chart below is for reference:
D581 - 99-05 LS based truck coils, square, they use the small coil harness connector
D580 - 97-05 LS1/LS6 5.7L Corvette/Camaro/Trans Am/GTO/CTS-V coils, rectangular, they use the large coil harness connector
D514A - 05-13 LS2/LS3/LS7 Corvette/GTO/CTS-V with round coil, they use small coil harness connector
D510C - 05-13 LS2/LS3/LS7 Corvette/GTO/CTS-V with flat coil, they use small coil harness connector
D585 - 99-05 LS based truck coils, round with heat sink, they use the small coil harness connector
