Lip washers are used under the head of insulator pins when a stic proof connection is required.
The Hubbell-Chance brand of pole line construction fasteners consist of machine and carriage bolts, flat, curved square and round washers, lock washers, washer nuts, locknuts, staples and lag screws. All products are designed and manufactured per applicable electric utility and communications industry standards.
Lip flange offers a means for wrench tightening
5/8" thick with 1/2" 11 UNC tapped hole for 1/2" bolt
Galvanized per ASTM A-153.
Lip Washer–Line construction hardware
It is desigend for other electrical power line componnets including crossarm anti-split bolts.
It also attaches crossarm braces to the crossarm.
