Original Vintage WW2 US Army Officer's Khaki Piss Cutter with Gold and Black Piping Acquired from family estate sale of Private First Class J.S. Gabbert, an expert marksman and member of the legendary American Expeditionary Force 2nd Battalion, 6th Marines who landed at Guadalcanal on January 1st, New Years Day,1943. A recipient of the Presidential Unit Citation Medal and Purple Heart for his service in WW2. NOTE: I have been alerted that this previously advertised USMC Garrison cap is actually an Army Officer's Piss Cutter and have changed this listing accordingly. Why this cap was among Pfc. Gabbert's belonging is anyone's guess. Perhaps this cap belonged to a fallen friend he'd made during the war. Nonetheless it remains a fantastic relic from our past. CONDITION : Excellent; it's original solid construction persists; no holes or tears. Has been in storage since the war and has no visible deterioration or color fade.
