Each slat has an adjustable foot at the bottom so there is no need for any drilling. You simply need to rotate the foot using the spanner provided. The top of each slat has a protective cushion to avoid damaging the ceiling. These dividers work best on solid floors and solid ceilings (like wood, stone, metal etc). If you have soft flooring or ceilings such as carpet, suspended ceilings, or plasterboard or if you wanted a more permeant setup, please get in touch prior to purchasing to discuss alternative methods of installation. This means imperfections are likely. Any unacceptable imperfections in the creator's opinion have been omitted. Please be aware that some small imperfections including company branding, abrasions, differences in colour, cuts, notches, dents may still appear if we believe they add to the furniture's aesthetics. ------------------------ Delivery and Timings ------------------------ Our warehouse is based in Southampton so collection from this location is free. Shipping prices are based on shipping to the UK mainland only and therefore do not include the Scottish Highlands, remote islands or Northern Ireland. Upon nearing completion with your item, we will contact you to ensure you will be available for the delivery date. We use a variety of shipping companies including royal mail, UPS and smaller trusted local couriers.
