The sconces are made of cast bronze. The sconces have been electrified at some point in the past. These sconces were likely originally candle sconces. The sconces have nice detailed casting with bearded man's faces and other decorative elements (see photos). The sconces are not marked by a maker. The sconces look to be French in origin. These are heavy cast bronze wall sconces. Each sconce weights almost 13 pounds. Each sconce measures about 19 inches high, each is about 16+ inches from the back to the front side and each is about 18 inches wide at he widest point of the arms. The items have some wear and I would recommend re-wiring all vintage lighting before use (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item).
