You may assume the item is the same as if you purchased it from a retail store. EXCELLENT. Item appears or performs as if it were in new or unused condition, but cannot be rated as new because of open/no packaging. GOOD. Item is in overall good to very good shape. It performs as expected with little or no problems. It's appearance is used but not abused. FAIR. Item appears worn or heavily used. It functions, but perhaps not to full expectations.
