SPECTACULAR Mourning Pin 10K Pearl Woven and similar items

Up for offer is this incredible large mourning pin - the back tests 10k - the front has not been tested I am assuming it is the same. It is huge measuring 2 1/8 inches by 1 11/16 inch. There are natural pearls and I believe the black area is enamel. There is woven hair under glass from both the husband and wife identified on the back - intertwined together forever. The metal around the glass and pearls is likely gold filled. One of the nicest mourning pins I have had. There is a cut in the side - see photos, some of these old pins are lined inside with silver tone metal for stability. I have no idea if this is the case, I am not going to try and take it apart and the metal weight/content is not it's value. Very cool that the people are identified. See all photos.
