This vintage sewing kit was used by U.S. military personnel during World War II (1939-45). It is an original item that has been well-maintained and is in great condition for its age. The kit is a Belding Corticelli make/model which was a popular sewing kit at the time. The kit is a valuable piece of militaria and is an excellent addition to any collection of original period items from this era. The kit is also a rare find for collectors of vintage sewing equipment.
The kit contains needles, thread and a clothes pin.
The dimensions are approximately (2 3/4" x 5") closed, (9 1/2" x 5") opened.
