Vintage Raymond Weil Geneve Quartz Watch featuring 18k gold electroplating. This particular style, with its rectangular case and integrated metal band, is characteristic of vintage Raymond Weil models, often from the 1980s or 1990s.
As you can see the band is a mess and what is left needs to be replaced. The good news is the watch battery was replaced and it runs and keeps time.
So find a watch band and you are ready to go because the crystal, while it has scratches, is serviceable and the scratches are more prominent using a jeweler?s loupe than with the naked eye. That doesn?t you won?t see scratches in light reflection but the face is easily readable and there is no broken seal leading to condensation.
Great project watch that really just needs cosmetic help in the form of a new band.
