Many enlisted men?s cap ornaments between WWI and WWII had eagles and the legs of the eagles of the older frog leg style. Enlisted cap devices during this time had shields as a background to match the backgrounds of the collar disks. Nice clean cap device, brass construction, screw back with original thumb screw. Measures 1-1/2? in diameter.
