The Samsung ice bucket and auger assembly is a replacement part responsible for dispensing ice from the refrigerator's ice maker. Located in the freezer compartment, this assembly consists of the ice bucket, which holds the ice cubes, and the auger, which is a rotating device that helps dispense the ice when the user activates the ice dispenser on the front of the refrigerator.
This ice bucket and auger assembly can also be used on Kenmore/Sears appliances.
This part fixes the following symptoms:
Ice dispenser fails to dispense ice or dispenses ice slowly and inconsistently
Unusual noises or grinding sounds when using the ice dispenser
The auger is jammed or stuck, preventing the ice from being dispensed properly
Ice bucket is cracked, broken, or damaged, affecting its ability to hold ice cubes
The ice maker is producing ice, but it does not drop into the ice bucket
