Pair of Indo-Persian Dhal Shields 18” Mughal and similar items

Up for sale is a set of two large Indo-Persian dhal shields, each measuring approximately 18 inches in diameter. These feature traditional Mughal-style foliate and floral etched decoration with raised brass bosses. The shields were acquired in 2006 from a market in Kabul, Afghanistan, and reflect the long-standing tradition of Indo-Persian artistry. While made in the style of historical Mughal war shields, these are intended as decorative pieces for collectors or display. Condition: Both shields show age-appropriate wear, patina, and surface marks consistent with handmade decorative items. Please review all photos for details.
