Red Lake Currant Plants from my "Organic" and 50 similar items

I have potted Red Lake Currants available for your garden! I started these from my own Red Lake Currant plant in the early spring. They are now rooted and ready to be planted in the ground. These plants will be shipped at time of purchase. These plants ship bareroot. That is the soil will be removed at time of shipping. And the roots will be wrapped to keep them moist. They should be planted without delay as soon as you receive them! These plants are now dormant for the winter. If planted now they will spread out their roots before the ground freezes. Early in the spring they grow their beautiful green leaves. These will not bear fruit in 2026 although I would expect them to start bearing the following year. The beautiful fruit hangs in small grape like clusters. Although some people describe the fruit as being sweet I have yet to discover it's sweetness! I tried leaving them on the bush longer this past year to see if indeed they would get sweet. I was disappointed with how many I wasted by doing so! That's fine! They don't need to be a "sweet fruit" to make me happy! My description of the fruit is: not very sweet, not too acidic or sour when ripe, maybe a little earthy...I really don't know how to describe them, they just taste like a currant!? I like to nibble on them fresh, throw them in my smoothie and use them in sourdough bread goodies!? (Similar to using cranberries.) They are also frequently used in jelly or juice. Photos are of my own plant in my garden. The photo of the dormant potted plant is an example of the ones I have to sell. Sizes vary. A few are a little larger and others are smaller. I will be sorting out the best and biggest to sell first. They are growing in 4 inch pots but will be shipped bareroot. About my "Organic" garden: I am not certified organic, however I never use synthetic fertilizers or sprays in my garden. I do a lot of mulching with animal bedding or leaves from our "organic" yard.
