Up for sale is an authentic antique wooden toy train tender, being sold for parts or restoration.
This piece is made by Strombecker in the 1930s/40s and was part of their famous "Rock Island Line" set. It has its original paint, faded gold lettering, and rear connector.
**IMPORTANT NOTE ON CONDITION: This item is damaged and incomplete. It is MISSING ONE (1) of its original four yellow wheels.**
The rest of the piece shows significant history and has heavy, authentic play wear. There is considerable paint loss, chipping, and scuffs throughout. Please review all photos carefully to understand its "as-is" condition.
This is the perfect item for a restoration expert needing parts for another Strombecker train, or for use in an art project or as a rustic decorative piece.
