Studio Art Glass Green Vase Handblown Cased Glass DESCRIPTION Body Dimensions in inches: 12 Tall, 4 1/2 Width at the widest point Interior Opening: 2 3/16 Diameter Mouth: slightly under 4 1/2 Diameter with ruffles at the widest point Foot: 3 3/8 Diameter Color: Green, Cobalt Blue and White. Signature on the Bottom: None but it has a rough pontil. Design: Bulbous middle, slender neck bottom, wide mouth, ruffled lip. Material: Glass. Technique: Handblown, with ruffled lip, cased glass, applied decoration. Condition: Used in Good Condition. No cracks, fleabites, repairs. One small chip in the foot, some bubbles throughout the surface, some black specks in the interior white surface. Except for the chip in the foot, the rest is manufacturing flaws. This vase is still beautiful inspite of these flaws. This is a delightful Studio Art Glass Green Vase done in a cased glass technique. The outer color is green with a cobalt blue decoration applied to the outer surface. The inner surface is a white color. The lip has been crimped to produce pronounced ruffles and a cobalt blue string of glass has been applied to the outer surface and swirls down from the mouth, ending in a large tear drop shape halfway down the body. There is a rough pontil on the bottom. Used in Good Condition. No cracks, fleabites, or repairs.
