Silvercel Non-Adherent Dressing Silvercel Antimicrobial Dressing is a sterile, non-woven pad composed of a high G (guluronic acid) alginate, carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) and silver coated nylon fibres. Due to the excellent fluid handling capacity and the prolonged antimicrobial activity Silvercel is an ideal dressing for the management of chronic wounds. Antimicrobial Action: Silvercel provides a sustained release of silver ions for up to 7 days, allowing for an effective antimicrobial protection for the entire wear time, depending on the level of exudate.
