“Self Portrait with Saskia C.1635“ Plate, 10 5/8 inch round, Reproduction by Gorham Gallery of the Masters, Collected from the art treasures of the world.
This limited edition plate is a reproduction of an original by Rembrandt van Rijn (1606-1669) painted over 200 years ago. This plate is authentically and faithfully reproduced in full color on Gorham Fine China. The original painting is located in Gemaldegalerie, Dresden, Germany.
The front side of the plate shows reproduction of the original painting. The plate has a 24 karat floral border to add to its total decorative elegance.
The back side of the plate has the Gorham Gallery seal and a description of the plate. Part of the description includes the following: “Limited United States Edition, Second Issue of the Series”. Wall mount metal hardware is included with the plate.
Included with this item is a 3 1 / 2 inch square brochure which gives a historical description of the original and of the plate reproduction. The information in the brochure can be read in the photos posted for this item.
