It is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks, but there are a few stains on it that should come off when washed, although I am unsure of the age of the ashtray. It is a little dusty from storage and will need to be washed. The ashtray is made of ceramic, and has a nice gold trim around the top edge. It is 1" tall,.75" deep, and 4.5" in diameter. It is a very nice ceramic piece, and a great vintage ashtray, with a very simple but classy look.
