Vintage original 27x41 in. US one-sheet poster from the 1970's western comedy/romance, WANDA NEVADA, released in 1979 by United Artists and directed by Peter Fonda. Romantic drama following the fortunes of a drifter named Beaudray Demerille (Peter Fonda) who wins a young orphan named Wanda (13-year-old Brooke Shields) in a poker game and takes her gold prospecting in the Grand Canyon. The cast includes Fiona Lewis, Luke Askew, Ted Markland, Severn Darden, Paul Fix, and Henry Fonda. Billed as "A Wild West Fantasy," the poster features great artwork depicting Peter Fonda smoking a cigarette as he holds a gun as beautiful Brooke Shields holds some playing cards with other of the film's main characters around them. Unrestored and folded as originally issued, this vintage original one-sheet is in very fine- condition with some small creases on the bottom left corner. There are no pinholes, tears, stains, or other flaws and the rich color tints are fresh and vibrant without any signs of fading. Henry Fonda, Peter Fonda's father, plays an old prospector in the Grand Canyon. As the prospector leaves Beaudray and Wanda, the song "Oh My Darling, Clementine" plays on the soundtrack. Henry Fonda starred in the John Ford film My Darling Clementine (1946) as Wyatt Earp.
