This beautiful one-of-a-kind ring was created by Cynthia Grant, a Pittsburgh artist. All of Cynthia's pieces are individually crafted and no duplicates are made. This beautiful ring is made in sterling silver and features a large dendritic opal gemstone. It is a size 6. What is a dendritic opal? This opal variety is termed "dendritic" due to its internal collection of dendrites which are fern-like inclusions of iron, manganese, or other metallic oxides that create bold patterns within the gem. Typically, dendritic opals are cut into slices to best exhibit nature's artwork. Note: Item is not used but is brand new old stock. Since this item was artisan made and did not have a UPC code, it had to be listed as used even though it has never been worn.
