The screwdriver is a 1/4" flathead with a magnetic tip. It is NEW IN THE PACKAGE. It lights the area being worked on, and works on two AA Batteries (not included). It has a push button on/off switch, 10,000 house light, alloy steel blade, and a serrated tip to keep the blade from slipping. It is a very nice lighting screwdriver, and a great useful tool.
