I was introduced to this product by a dentist and her hygienist, who sold it out of their office. I have recessed gums and I guess they noted my occasionally gripping the dentist chair's arm rest rather firmly as the hygienist cleaned my teeth. When I brush with this toothpaste, I don't get that "singing" from the exposed roots when she cleans along my recessed gum lines. Excellent product, it performs as advertised. I have been using it now for about 5 years.
