Vintage Fisher Price Little People #990 A-Frame Playset COMP w/WOODEN People/NR MINT-MT! Vintage Fisher Price Little People #990 A-Frame Playset COMPLETE w/Wooden LP/NR MINT-MINT! Here for your consideration is a WONDERFUL FIND---a Fisher Price Little People #990 A-Frame Playset!!! Manufactured between 1974-76, this play set is 100% COMPLETE and in NEAR MINT-MINT condition. It also features four ALL WOOD LITTLE PEOPLE. This base has led a "charmed life." After repeated scrutiny, the only "flaws" I can ascertain are: 1. Some pin-head size "dings" on the rear roof of the A-Frame; these are EXTREMELY hard to spot; I literally had to hold this base up within 3" of my eyes and rotate it in the light to see these; they DEFINITELY do not detract from the overall appearance or functioning of this piece; and 2. Some mild rubs on the plastic door adjacent to the bell; this is common with these sets. That's it!!!!! I'm being extremely "nit-picky" here. All of the plastic hinges are intact, the sliding doors operate as designed, and the bell rings merrily to welcome its occupants. The aqua coloration is uniform throughout (e.g. no darkening with age) and there are no abrasions, chips, marks, cracks, repairs, or stains of any kind on any of the plastic surfaces. The INTERIOR and EXTERIOR lithos are PRISTINE (MINT). I've gone over INTERIOR lithos with a "fine tooth comb." They are clean, firmly attached to their underlying plastic surfaces, and free of any rubs, marks, tears, bubbles, creases, or stains. Besides this STUNNING Fisher Price Little People play base, the set includes the following accessories: 1 HTF 4 rung white ladder (EXC++-NEAR MINT---a couple of barely visible "nibbles" on one end of the ladder; I doubt if a person would even see these if I hadn't pointed them out); 1 RARE red/white, 4 seater jeep with Fisher Price written on its wheels (MINTY MINT); 1 HTF yellow grill (MINTY MINT); 4 RARE yellow stacking bunk beds without original foam(VG+-VG++-I will be replacing the original foam with hard foam inserts (not shown); I will not be gluing these "mattresses" into place so if you don't wish to keep them, you'll be able to easily remove them; all of the beds still have their original "pegs" so they latch together easily and firmly); 1 VHTF white litho picnic table (MINTY MINT); 2 HTF white picnic benches (MINTY MINT); 2 HTF yellow chaise lounge chairs (MINTY MINT); and 2 HTF yellow captain's chairs with triangles on the back (MINTY MINT). This particular offering also includes 4 ALL WOOD Little People and 1 ALL PLASTIC LUCKY : 1 VHTF, ALL WOOD, tall, blue bodied Mom with blonde hair (EXC++-NEAR MINT--I have repaired a crack on the top of her hair with Super Glue; it should not pose any future problems); 1 RARE, ALL WOOD, short red bodied girl with blonde bob and bangs (MINTY MINT); 1 VHTF, ALL WOOD, tall, green bodied Dad with BROWN heat stamped hair (MINTY MINT); 1 RARE, ALL WOOD, short, yellow bodied boy with red cap, frowning face, and freckles (EXC-EXC++--exhibits one vertical mark on back side of character; not sure if this will come off with a careful cleaning; I don't want to push it because the patina on this piece is AMAZING; otherwise, this piece is MINTY MINT); and 1 ALL PLASTIC Lucky with a red collar (MINTY MINT). The A-Frame and all of its accessories will be thoroughly Q-tip cleaned prior to sending it to its new owners. I spend a MINIMUM of 1 1/2 -5 hours cleaning each and every VINTAGE Fisher Price Little People playset I sell (except for those clearly marked in MY ROUGH ROOM). I utilize a variety of cleaning products---Dawn dishwashing soap with anti-bacterial ingredients, Mr. Clean's Magic Eraser, Goo-Gone, Crayon-Away, Chlorox Bleach pen, Soft Scrub, Comet, Armor All wipes etc. along with a child's toothbrush, toothpicks, and Q-tips to give these sets a detailed cleaning. My sets are IMMACULATE! All you have to do is unpack and enjoy them. This would make an AWESOME gift for any avid Fisher Price COLLECTOR! It would also make a WONDERFUL gift for some lucky child. NOTE: This playset is not a part of the recent recall of Fisher Price toys manufactured in China. This set was produced in the good, ole' U.S.A. in 1974. It's hard to imagine this set is 38 years young! They sure don't make toys the way they used to! Due to some small parts, children under 3 years of age or those still mouthing their toys should not be given these toys to play with unsupervised. Adult supervision is highly recommended.
