This local estate sale find is a unique demitasse teacup and saucer, with soft green and caramel colored striping, on the inside edging of the cup and outside edging of the saucer. Pretty floral is inside the cup, and in the center of the saucer. The background color is a light ivory, and gold accents the cup and saucer. The cup measures 2 3/4" diameter across the top, 1 1/2" diameter across the bottom, and 2 3/8" high. The saucer is 4 6/8" diameter, and 5/8" high at the edge. On the bottom of both pieces is stamped: BRITISH ANCHOR (anchor logo) MADE IN ENGLAND. 4693 is also stamped on the bottom of the cup. The pattern name is possibly STANTON as Replacements.com had a description of "rings on edge and floral center", but no photo. There is crazing on both cup and saucer, and a brown spot on the bottom of the saucer, as it was lovingly used.
