The seller (who was wonderful!) could not possibly have known this, as the pajamas were sealed in original packaging, but when following the instructions to wash before wearing, the pajamas do not hold up well to washing. Interfaces on collar and button placket do not lay flat after washing.
Disappointing quality from Hanes, a maker with a long history of quality items. But this was a present for my father and he's happy enough with them, so all's well :)
I'm writing this so others will know in advance the problem, and can decide for themselves if they wish to purchase or not.
