The masticha was as good as any I've bought in the U.S., and though I expected it to come much later, as it was coming from Greece, it came in a very timely way. It was also much less expensive than masticha I have bought in the U.S., and it had a good, fresh smell. I have used it for years in making kouloura with masticha for Pascha, and am still amazed at the low price for it. I used up masticha on hand making all kouloura needed for family, so though I have not cooked with it yet, I know it will be excellent ~ the aroma tells me so. I just wish to add, "thank you!" I am a Cretan Greek American; many do not use masticha in kouloua, but my heritage compels it -- lovely product. You sent me a lovey product.
