The UP3 is good at what it does; it tracks sleep, steps, and gently wakes you up at just the right time. However, a poorly constructed app and odd design decisions make it cumbersome. The band is difficult to get comfortable and tends to loosen itself over the course of a day. The app takes literally minutes to update information upon opening and is frequently unresponsive. Still, a decent fitness tracker for $86 is hard to beat.
