You can use your imagination to create something special with it. The dimensions of the item are 6 x 3/4" It is not hollow. It is solid polyurethane. This Poly will engrave and Scrimshaw very nicely.Just sand it smooth, seal the pores with a good quality wax and use sharp tools. This Polyurethane is easily turned on a lathe. It can be drilled, tapped and threaded. It is useful for any repair that needs to appear as if it is ivory. It has been used inmaking a black powder measures, in jewelry making, scrimshaw, custom inlay, pen blanks, reel seats, custom knobs, duck calls, and many, many more unique products.
