IT IS SOLD AS A NOVELTY USEFUL TO MAKE NECKLACES, KEY CHAINS, WHATEVER. The dimensions of the tooth are 2 5/8" X 1 1/8". It is not hollow, it is solid polyurethane. This Polyurethane is easily turned on a lathe. It can be drilled, tapped and threaded. It is useful for any repair that needs to appear as if it is ivory. It has been used in making a black powder measures, in jewelry making, scrimshaw, custom inlay, pen blanks, reel seats, custom knobs, duck calls, and many, many more unique products. This material works easily and will polish very nicely with 3M automotive re-finishers polish.
