This is for an early R107 dash temp sensor. The corner is chipped as shown. It can be mended or pull out the inner workings and put them in another housing.
This is different from later sensors. It is larger in diameter and it has wiring leads coming off of it as shown, not a bare plug-in at the base like the later ones.
