Descripción del Artículo
Vintage original Third Draft script from the popular 1980's hotel-themed television drama, HOTEL (AKA Arthur Hailey's Hotel), executive-produced by Aaron Spelling and Douglas S. Cramer. It is from Season 2, Episode 3, which was entitled Fantasies, . In this episode, an old boyfriend of Christine's comes to town and is willing to do anything to win her over including buying the hotel. And a couple who are friends of Peter's may not be happy as they appear to be. The cast includes James Brolin, Connie Sellecca, Shea Farrell, Nathan Cook, Michael Spound, Shari Belafonte, Anne Baxter, Jaime Lyn Bauer, Susan Blakely, and Andrews Stevens.
Written by Sheila R. Allen, James Fritzhand, and Allison Hock, this Third Draft script is dated May 4, 1984. It consists of 55 pages on pink stock which have been 3-hole punched and bound with two metal grommets between a red cardstock front and back cover. It is complete and in overall very fine condition with light signs of wear along the first 2 inches of the top edge of the front cover; a handwritten name (Pete Johnson?) in black ink in the top right corner of the front cover (who does not appear to be affiliated with this production); and some light smudges on the back cover. There are no missing pages, tears, stains, or other flaws.
Hotel is an American primetime soap opera series which aired on ABC from September 21, 1983, to May 5, 1988, in the timeslot following Dynasty. Based on Arthur Hailey's 1965 novel of the same name (which had also inspired a 1967 feature film), the series was produced by Aaron Spelling and set in the elegant and fictitious St. Gregory Hotel in San Francisco (changed from the New Orleans setting of the novel and film). Establishing shots of the hotel were filmed in front of the Fairmont San Francisco atop the Nob Hill neighborhood. Episodes followed the activities of passing guests, as well as the personal and professional lives of the hotel staff.
