INTERESTING ESTATE SALE FIND.....
"GAMBLERS FRIEND"
ANTIQUE KNIFE....I BELIEVE IT IS FROM THE LATE 1800's TO EARLY 1900's. Single sided bowie or hunting type. Looks to be CARBON STEEL with a stag handle. Marked "LANDERS, FRARY, CLARK and AETNA WORKS on the blade. REALLY COOL AND OLD sheath. The sheath is marked "GAMBLERS FRIEND". and has STAR shaped metal working on each end.
The sheath has a clip like it was meant to be placed inside of a boot. SEE PICTURES.
Condition: Usual condition for an antique knife. No broken edges and still nice and strong.
Knife is just just under 12" long. Blade is 7 1/4".
It will be protected well and insured.
