Vintage original First Draft script from the popular 1980's crime drama television series, HOLLYWOOD BEAT, created by Henry Rosenbaum and produced by Aaron Spelling Productions. It is from Season 1, Episode 8, which was entitled, Fast Hustle, in which Stack (Chick Vennera), Nick (Jack Scalia) and Rado's (Jay Acovone) informant, is embroiled in the murder of journalist Roger Bourne (Jim Huston), who was on the trail of Black Scanlon (John P. Ryan), a narcotics smuggler who operates from his own docks. The cast includes John Matuszak, Edward Winter, Lenore Kasdorf, James T. Callahan, and Christopher Connelly. Written by Fred McKnight, this First Draft script is dated October 2, 1985. It consists of four acts and a closing TAG scene in 61 pages on white stock which were 3-hole punched and bound with two brass brads between either a cream cardstock front and back cover. It is complete in overall very fine condition with all of the interior pages in very fine condition without any tears, stains, or other flaws, nor are there any handwritten notations within. On the top right corner of the front cover was, we assume, the name of the person that this particular script was issued to, which was subsequently blacked-out with a marker which bled though somewhat to the other side, but did not affect the following title page. Hollywood Beat aired on ABC on Saturday nights at 8:00 p.m Eastern time from September 21 until November 23, 1985.
