Descripción del Artículo

HARD TO FIND....GREAT COLLECTOR'S PIECE! Authentic piece from the same location that houses the "TOP GUN" US Navy program! This is the only one of these currently listed or that I have ever seen listed. NAAS or Naval Auxiliary Air Station in Fallon Nevada. The station was called NAAS from 1944-1972. It later changed to NAS etc. There is a good amount of reading regarding this base and its history online. I would recommend reading as it is very interesting. The read deal and not a reproduction. Heavy duty metal. The badge originally had a green build up on it which I was able to remove with vinegar but unfortunately the green corrosion removed some of the original chrome. SEE PICUTRES. No bends or breaks. Signs of past corrosion as seen in pictures. 2 1/2" tall and 1 11/16" across. It will be protected well and insured. Location E1, MER
