Descripción del Artículo

1.9 Gram Autunite Specimen Common Name: autunite From Huantai County, Zibo Shandong Provence China Mineral: calcium uranyl phosphate also called calco-uranite Size: 19x14x10mmmm Approximate Weight: 1.86g Autunite contains 48.27% uranium. This specimen will glow bright green in the presence of UV light due to the presence of phosphorus. This specimen was stabilized with Butvar B-76, a commonly used conservation material in the field of mineral preservation, providing excellent protective qualities for stabilization and long-term conservation. The stabilization process infuses the specimen with an acrylic resin resulting in a specimen that won’t fall apart over time like autunite normally does if neglected. The buyer must assume responsibility for this item and use it according to its intended purpose. Keep this away from children and store it at least five feet away from anywhere anyone spends a lot of time. A small UV light source is included with the purchase. Geiger counter not included.
