Also called western yellow pine this pitch is raw, unprocessed and unheated with a mix of various tones and consistency of soft to chunky, each emitting the amazing aroma of wild pine. The resin is sorted with an attempt to remove bits of bark and needles but some will be present. Refining with heat and straining will deliver a translucent product.
