This differs greatly from planting ramps from seed, which takes 5-7 years minimally before harvest. Plant in small groups 3-4 inches deep, spacing 6 inches apart. Cover plantings with a few inches of old leaf litter. If a wooded area is not available, attempt replant in a shaded area.
