For the activities I have started on 26th December, because this directly follows on from my Advent set. I know there’s controversy over the exact dates of the 12 days of Christmas, so for the bookmarks I’ve simply labelled the days 1-12 without dates. You can choose if Day 12 is Epiphany on the 5th or 6th or 18th or 19th January, go with Christmas Day or Christmas Eve, or have Christmas in July! The bookmarks and boxes could be reused again next year, if you stick the boxes back with something which won’t damage them, like blu tack, masking tape (or possibly washi tape?) and then store them flat after Christmas. It is also inherently an eco friendly approach to advent calendars as there’s no shipping or plastic or metallics involved, you could even print on recycled card.
