Fourteen nice condition buttons from the State Of Pennsylvania US Army units post Civil War era, Indian Wars. Made by Goodwins with Patent date of July 27, 1876. About 15/16" in diameter. These were not metal detector finds, they have been preserved well. A few look a little less gilt but I think they just need polishing, there is no evidence of any flaking or scuffing, they are nice shape buttons. You could easily spend a hundred dollars or more assembling these buttons individually.
